Pair of 12” premium DJ slipmats

This artwork is based on a stencil that was originally created for a CD cover artwork for the Melbourne roots outfit Blue King Brown … and now available in two colours for your turntables.
Nothing says ‘style’ more than a pair of vintage headphones – some say they might even let you time travel into a LSD trip in the early 1970’s.

Madslips are printed with the innovative sublimation technique which sets the ink within the thin high-density polyfibre mat. This not only ensures long lasting crisp graphics, but also leaves a smooth and soft top surface for your precious wax to sit on.
The bottom surface features a special glazed coating to minimize friction between the mats and the turntable platter, ‘cos it’s all about the slip!

Some of our slipmat designs have a bit of history. This one started as a lucky find in an op-shop in Fitzroy, Melbourne almost 15 years ago. A few years later I cut a stencil of them to feature them on the cover of one of the first single releases of the then up&coming Melbourne band Blue King Brown @bluekingbrown.
